Ha! Good cast--wonder who that guy is who keeps taking his shirt off?--love the phenome bomb (I've thrown plenty of those). This is back to the basics, but way more fun!
when i created/wrote/drew A-OKAY COOL, 5 years ago, i struggled with how to make a new superhero team and finally, gave up, and just did something totally silly and bizarre in hopes that the difference between what i was doing vs what marvel and DC do [while paying homage to those classic super-duper teams], would suffice. i have two more episodes in the vault and a few finished scripts that i may revisit and draw.
thx, si [and w.r. and geo]--
i don't think folks "got" what i was going for when i first produced A-OKAY COOL, 5-years ago [in the pages of AdHouse Books' PROJECT: SUPERIOR], but i'm glad this revival is winning new readers over.
Although you pack a lot into little space, my only complaint is that it is not two HUNDRED pages of hijinks. This is like the old school "Champions" except funny, ironic, and... well, good. Bring on the four color!
thx, fiffe. in dusting off these old comix, i discovered a few finished scripts, including their origin and an adventure with BILLY DOGMA, that i may realize for AIV.
I gotta admit, I skipped the first page with the character descriptions because for some reason on my computer that page had all these words all over it.
For what it's worth, I jumped right in and it all made as much sense as it's supposed to, no explanations necessary.
Also, I like the sheep.
But you knew that already.
thx, cav. A-OKAY COOL was an exercise in brevity. there are two more tales and then i wrote scripts for some other stories that i might draw. the intro page was for folks with seed money to easily grasp the characters and pay me to develop this idea into a proper book and/or animated series.

I thought you were Man-Size? But lord knows you've never been shy about taking off your shirt.
I like it. Did you color this yo'selficles?
