I've re-lettered all the earlier pages and now you can see her dialogue below the panel. Not sure if I've uploaded those yet, though -- will get on it!
I think both characters are a little oblivious on this page.
It was my original idea to have Justin not understand what she was saying, but enough people convinced me it would give Maya's character more depth if you knew what she was saying. Even though I had a fondness for really putting the reader in his shoes, I could see their point.
Nice work. I will weigh in on the whole spanish translation thing and say that, no, we shouldn't get english subtitles because he doesn't get them either. And unless I'm mistaken, there's no big plot points being revealed in them, so I would just as soon leave them out.
Thanks for your opinion, George, it is certainly worth considering.
Without spoiling anything, there are things I need to establish here that build to something later. I will also say that since many of you haven't read the older pages I've changed, this seems to come out of the blue. Reading it from start to finish, the continuity shift is not as dramatic.
Going a bit against the grain, I rather like the subtitles- for a very selfish reason as it helps me improve my Spanish Comprehension, which I normally do with Air Travel Magazines.
